Although I've yet to enjoy my first BBQ of the season, spring is definitely in the air and it's making me excited!! Squee! My fave season! Life, growth, rejuvenation..... melted dog poo..er.. ya.. gross.
So, every year, in April, I feel as though I'm finally reuniting with my artistic spirit guide after a dreadfully long, dark and cold absence... OK, fine. I'm exaggerating, slightly. As I said, its been a very. long. winter. I am so ready to bust out the short shorts and smear on some sunscreen and bask in natural warm sunny light! (#YOLO #SWAG?)
This also means that..... *drum roll and confetti*
WEDDING season is sneaking up on us! *fluttering hearts and unicorns*.
Hoping to save some busy-bee-bride-to-bes a few greys (possible) panic tantrums, i've put together a list of fab wedding photo locations in and around Ottawa / Gatineau. I haven't found an abundance of input on this online so I figured I'd throw ye ol' cyber dog a digi-bone.
These vast and inspiring terrains are accessible most of the summer (some year-round) and are super ideal for wedding and portrait captures. Please
always inspect / respect each location's rules, hours and code of conduc in order to ensure many more years of wedding photo location goodness for all!
P.S. Locations for naughtier send-the-kids-to-bed-this-is-not-PG type of shoots (such as boudoir or artistic nudes) should and will be scouted and discussed in an upcoming article.
